INSPECTOR TECH STACK

Inspector is proudly built on top of Laravel

Valerio CTO at Inspector

THE BEGINNING

How I met Laravel

As many Inspector customers probably already know, I'm a Laravel certified developer since 2015. So when I decided to develop my SaaS product in 2019 I had the opportunity to leverage my experience working with the framework and build a sustainable product-led business. Indeed Inspector is a fully based on Laravel with a SPA frontend built in Vuejs.

I believe that developer tools should provide practical solutions at your fingertips without adding further complexity to your development process. That's why I love Laravel and the reson why I decided to embrace the framework as my development environment when I quit the company to launch my own business.

THE CONTRIBUTION

Laravel integration library

Obviously next to the product the first Inspector official integration library was for the Laravel framework. I have never found other frameworks, also in other programming languages, where it is so easy to build packages and extensions.

Laravel has a very curated events system, also integrated in the default Laravel internal components. These number and well-designed hooks are the reason why Laravel is our most popular package that offers the best developer experience compared to other Inspector libraries.

All our libraries are open-sourced on GitHub and we also provide developers with a completely free tier to start using Inspector. This was the opportunity to really contribute to the public community with something professional that you can start using for free.

RESULTS

Developers feedback

July 14 2019 I published my first article on Laraval news and the developers immediately started using the product.

In the same way the community supported me during the start of this amazing experience I help
developers every day to embrace the product in their development process.
